A successful collaboration between the Danes from Bisgaard and Ecco revolutionized the children's footwear industry. This is how AANKL was born, an innovative and sustainable brand.

Their models offer a lot of space for the toes, but also an excellent fit around the ankle and the sole. This differentiates them from traditional sports boots, which are normally sharper at the top and very rigid.

Based on the child's anatomy, Bisgaard and Ecco developed the friendliest sole and wrapped it in merino wool. A durable, eco-friendly material that does not allow the foot to sweat, being thermoregulating. It feels very nice, the little one can wear the AANKL models even with bare feet, without socks.

The sole, only 3 mm thick, is resistant and very light, made of FSC certified natural rubber.
